Invited by the 10th Serrinha Art Festival—an important, activity-packed annual cultural event that mixes art and nature on a farm in the São Paulo countryside— I was able to create my first permanent installation.

Nau (Boat) is a sculpture in the form of a paper boat installed in the murky water of a lake located at the entrance to the farm, in the Manitqueira Mountains. The work adds to the playful atmosphere of the festival and welcomes the public in a manner that is in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
